This Eurostat dataset contains data on peri-neonatal mortality by age of mother and parity, by nuts 2 region of residence and occurrence, 3 year average, as collected and published by the Statistical Office of the European Union.

Tables included:

• raw: Original table as downloaded from Eurostat.
• tidy: A cleaned and transformed version of the raw table, where time period values appear as rows instead of columns (unpivoted format).
