This Eurostat dataset contains data on laying hens: number of farms and heads by economic size of farm (so in euro) and size of laying hen flock, as collected and published by the Statistical Office of the European Union.

Tables included:

• raw: Original table as downloaded from Eurostat.
• tidy: A cleaned and transformed version of the raw table, where time period values appear as rows instead of columns (unpivoted format).
