This Eurostat dataset contains data on dairy cows: number of farms and heads by size of farm (uaa) and size of dairy herd, as collected and published by the Statistical Office of the European Union.

Tables included:

• raw: Original table as downloaded from Eurostat.
• tidy: A cleaned and transformed version of the raw table, where time period values appear as rows instead of columns (unpivoted format).
