This Eurostat dataset contains data on students enrolled in tertiary education by education level, programme orientation, sex, type of institution and intensity of participation, as collected and published by the Statistical Office of the European Union.

Tables included:

• raw: Original table as downloaded from Eurostat.
• tidy: A cleaned and transformed version of the raw table, where time period values appear as rows instead of columns (unpivoted format).
