This Eurostat dataset contains data on average age when leaving formal education by sex and educational attainment level for persons who left within the last 3 or 5 years, as collected and published by the Statistical Office of the European Union.

Tables included:

• raw: Original table as downloaded from Eurostat.
• tidy: A cleaned and transformed version of the raw table, where time period values appear as rows instead of columns (unpivoted format).
