Network efficiency is an index that indicates the distance between the connectivity offered by an existing, planned or modelled transport network and the connectivity offered by an ideal network. A network efficiency value of 1 indicates that the network connectivity is ideal. The further away from 1, the less efficient the network is. The level of detail of this indicator is per NUTS0 and NUTS2.
