This dataset provides a complete time history of Influenza A wastewater sample data and calculated metrics from US sampling locations.
CDC’s National Wastewater Surveillance System (NWSS) includes data collected and reported by:
• All data with a source designation of “state_territory” were generated by state and local health departments are reported to CDC and supported with funding through the Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity for the Prevention and Control of Emerging Infectious Diseases (ELC) Cooperative Agreement (https://www.cdc.gov/epidemiology-laboratory-capacity/php/our-work/index.html).
• All data with a source designation of “cdc_verily” were generated by CDC’s national wastewater testing contract (currently with Verily Life Sciences, LLC).
• All data with a source designation of “wws” were generated by WastewaterSCAN, a partnership between Stanford University, Emory University, and Verily. All results are understood to be based on inputs that are experimental in nature and are not intended to diagnose or treat any disease. The results are provided “as is” and without warranty of any kind. Stanford does not accept liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the disclosure of these results.
