Dataset Description

Article 22 of the [government policy on employment and the quality of
French language in the administration] (https://cdn-contenu.quebec.ca/cdn-contenu/adm/min/justice/publications-adm/spvlf/politique-gouvernementale-langue-francaise.pdf) provides that:

“The Administration does not award a contract, subsidy or benefit, regardless of value, to an enterprise subject to articles 135 to 154 of the [Charter] (http://www.legisquebec.gouv.qc.ca/fr/ShowDoc/cs/c-11), if that enterprise does not have a registration certificate, or if it has not provided, within the prescribed period, an analysis of its linguistic situation, or if it does not have an analysis of its linguistic situation in a timely manner, or if it does not have a program application certificate or a francization certificate, or if its name appears on the List of companies that do not comply with the francization process published on the website of the Office Québecois de la Langue Française. The documents submitted to the company for these purposes, in particular the call for tenders, refer to this requirement.”
