Dataset Description
The National Museum of Fine Arts of Quebec (MNBAQ) makes some of the data on its collections available. The MNBAQ collections include more than 41,000 works (paintings, sculptures, drawings, drawings, drawings, drawings, photographs, prints, decorative art, videos, installations, digital art and media art), mainly produced in Quebec or by Quebec artists, and some of which date back to the 17th century.
Purpose: To enable the public to take ownership of information about the collections in order to promote them. Facilitate research and access to collections held by the Museum. Locate and group collections by artist names, by places of production, by categories, by keywords, etc.
