Dataset Description
The American marten (Martes americana), fisher (Martes pennanti) and Canada lynx (Lynx canadensis) are predators that have a prominent place in the food chain of the forests in La Mauricie National Park. They are sensitive to large-scale anthropogenic pressures that can occur in the region and the availability of certain types of forest habitats in the park. The estimated occupancy rate (relative abundance) of the three species is mainly calculated in the fall using a network of 30 trail camera stations.
