Dataset Description
A targeted survey analysed 3,173 samples of chocolate-based confectionaries for Salmonella, total coliforms and generic E. coli. Salmonella and generic E. coli were not found in any of the samples. High levels of coliforms were found in 3 samples. Canadian Food Inspection Agency conducted appropriate follow-up activities such as facility inspections and additional sampling.
