Dataset Description

Between 2019-2020 and 2023-2024, PSPC undertook a five-year project with the goal of completing a comprehensive accessibility assessment of all relevant PSPC owned and lease purchase buildings, in accordance with the Treasury Board Standard on Barrier-Free Access to Real Property which used the 2018 Canadian Standards Association standard for Accessibility (CSA B651-2018).

This dataset provides the numerical rating assigned to crown-owned and lease-purchase buildings when assessed against the current Treasury Board Standard on Barrier-Free Access to Real Property. This value (0-100) is an assessment of how well these buildings conform to the recommended standards on providing an accessible environment to employees and/or to the general public. This indicator demonstrates PSPC’s commitment to supporting social inclusiveness through ongoing real property programs that continue to improve the conditions in these buildings.
