Register Of Administrative Monetary Penalties

The MELCCFP publishes a register of information relating to administrative monetary penalties.

Under section 22 of the LMA, administrative monetary penalties may be imposed by persons designated by the Minister (primarily regional environmental control directors) on any person who fails to comply with the following laws and their implementing regulations:

• An Act on certain measures to enforce environmental and dam safety laws (LMA);
• Environmental Quality Act (LQE);
• Pesticides Act (LP);
• Dam Safety Act (LSB);
• Endangered or Vulnerable Species Act (LEMV);
• Natural Heritage Conservation Act (LCPN);
• An Act to increase the number of zero-emission motor vehicles in Quebec in order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and other pollutants (LVZE).
