Rehabilitation Of Contaminated Sites Under The Responsibility Of The State

The purpose of this dataset is to provide information to understand the management of contaminated sites under the responsibility of the Government of Quebec and to monitor their rehabilitation. To build the database, each department or agency:

• provides a list of contaminated sites under its responsibility;

• applies the Reference Framework for the Management of Contaminated Sites under the responsibility of the State;

• estimates the costs of characterization, environmental rehabilitation, monitoring and post-rehabilitation maintenance;

• monitors the sites until they are rehabilitated and, if necessary, until the end of their post-rehabilitation monitoring and maintenance.
