This dataset contains long-format time series observations published by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) for program LABOR FORCE STATISTICS FROM THE CURRENT POPULATION SURVEY (LN database).

It is organized into two tables:

1. time_series_data: Time series observations, one row per (series_id, year, period).
2. series_catalog: Descriptive metadata for each BLS series identifier.

The time_series_data table can be joined with the series_catalog table on series_id to enrich observations with descriptive attributes such as series title, coverage, and validity period.
