2023 Three-Pass Depletion Fish Census Surveys

These data represent fish census surveys in Great Smoky Mountains National Park conducted using the Delury Method of Three-Pass Depletion electrofishing. In 2023, fish were collected, sorted by species, and weighed at 34 unique sites from a total of 21 streams ranging in size from first to third-order waterways. These streams are surveyed on an annual basis to monitor population trends over time.
