This dataset equips users with valuable insights into the vaccination coverage among children aged 19-35 in the United States from 2011 to 2018. The data provides measures of health statistics trended over time by race, Hispanic origin, poverty level, and location of residence for selected diseases. It includes columns for Year, Vaccination coverage amount, Vaccination flag (whether or not the source of data is reliable), Category (the type of disease covered by vaccines), Category flag (whether the category information can be trusted or not), Group (groupings categorized by higher risk population – African American or Hispanic etc.), Group Flag, Estimate Flag indicating whether it should be included in calculations and an Estimated amount indicating how many vaccinations have been administered. This dataset is an invaluable source of information that aids researchers in uncovering trends in health-related metrics across different demographic groups

This dataset provides useful information regarding vaccination coverage among children aged 19-35 months of age. It can be used to gain insights into how different factors, such as race, ethnicity, poverty level and residential area, play a role in determining the rate at which children are vaccinated.
The table includes Year; Vaccination; Vaccination flag; Category; Category flag; Group; Group flag; Estimate and Estimate flag as columns.
Year: This column indicates the year for which data is presented.
Vaccination: This column presents the type of vaccination given to children aged 19-35 months old during that year.
Vaccination Flag: This column provides a code that indicates whether or not the vaccination provided during that year was reliable or not (for example, if data from multiple providers were collected).
Category: The name of a demographic category associated with each row's data (e.g., Race/Ethnicity).
Category Flag: This provides an indication as to whether or not there is enough information available on this particular demographic in order to make meaningful comparisons regarding its impact on vaccine coverage rates over time (for example, if there are less than 5 records in a certain group).
Group: The racial/ethnic group or component included within each row’s unique category (e.g., Hispanic). –––––––--—-----------------------------------------------------------------------—---Group Flag: A code indicating whether the results from this group can accurately be interpreted based upon sufficient sample size of individuals belonging to it (for example, greater than 10 individuals), otherwise known as “statistical reliability” . Estimate and Estimate Flag - These provide numerical estimates of how many children aged 19-35 month old have been vaccinated for each racial/ethnic group during the time frame specified by ‘Year’ field above them
How To Use This Data Set?
1) Investigate disparities between different races/ ethnicities and their relativly lower vaccination rates across all years specified by this dataset e.g : Hispanics have lower rates reltaively compared vaccinations delivered nationally $\rightarrow$ implications
- Analyzing vaccination coverage disparities among different racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic groups across the United States.
- Identifying areas where interventions are needed to increase consistently low vaccination rate levels.
- Evaluating changes in the vaccine landscape over time in order to inform new public health policies and interventions at both the state and national level
